A practical guide from the team at Puranmal Sons & Ceramix Syndicate.
For high-traffic floors — lobbies, commercial spaces, driveways — choose denser vitrified or full-body tiles. Ceramic is well suited to walls and lighter-traffic residential floors. Matching the tile to the wear it will face avoids callbacks later.
Larger formats mean fewer joints and a cleaner look but need a flatter substrate and more careful laying. Smaller tiles and mosaics suit bathrooms and detailed work. Consider the room size and the labour available.
Order about 8–10% extra to cover cutting, breakage and future repairs, and a little more for diagonal layouts or rooms with many cuts. Keeping a small reserve from the same batch protects you against shade variation later.
Confirm the batch/shade for large orders, get samples approved before bulk delivery, and plan delivery in phases for big sites. Share your BOQ or area schedule and we'll work out quantities, sizes and project pricing with you.
Share your list or BOQ and we'll call back with pricing and availability, usually the same working day.
