A practical guide from the team at Puranmal Sons & Ceramix Syndicate.
Larger tiles mean fewer grout lines and a cleaner, more spacious feel, while smaller tiles and mosaics add detail and grip. The right size depends on the room and the effect you want.
Large formats such as 600×600 mm, 800×800 mm or 600×1200 mm suit living rooms and halls, giving a seamless premium look. They need a flat, well-prepared surface.
For bathroom floors, medium sizes with a matt or anti-skid finish give grip. Walls often use 300×450 mm or 300×600 mm. Kitchens use a mix of floor tiles and wall/dado tiles.
Use anti-skid, textured tiles outdoors and on balconies for safety. Ask us for size and finish recommendations for each space in your home or project.
